Pre-K Program

The St. Mary's two, three, and now, five day Pre-K programs are a part of the St. Mary's "family." As parents, you are welcome and encouraged to join our Parent's Club and become involved in their activities. You will receive newsletters informing you of our latest news and events, as well as information about the Pre-K program specifically.

Your child will be included in any special events that may happen during the school day if it is a day that he/she is in attendance.

Our Pre-K program begins the week after Labor Day and continues through June. The children have the same vacation periods and holidays as the elementary school children. Specific dates are found on the school calendar, which is handed out the day of orientation. If any changes in the calendar occur, we will notify you immediately.

Our three-year-old program is on Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 AM - 2 PM. The four-year-old program consists of either three half days per week or five half days per week. The three day program will be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:30 AM - 2 PM. The five day program will be Monday thru Friday from 8 AM - 10:30 AM. We encourage families to choose the four-year-old program that best suites their individual needs.

Our goals and objectives for the Pre-K students are spiritual, intellectual and social/emotional. The children engage in many varied activities to promote growth in all areas. Some of the daily activities are: music, art, fine motor activities, story telling and finger play, gross motor activities, cognitive activities and enrichment activities.

Kindergarten Program

St. Mary's Academy offers a full day kindergarten program. The Kindergarten program at St. Mary's Academy provides positive opportunities for social, emotional, spiritual and physical development. The children are encouraged to express themselves through prayer, music, art, story telling and dramatic play.
